Risk Management

Financial, operational and market risks are an integral elements of commodity trading and physical supply.  They cannot be totally avoided, though can be planned and controlled.  We apply a range of risk management tools to minimize overall exposure. Some of these tools are as the following:

• Strict policies and procedures to eliminate fraud and regulatory risks 
• Due diligence prior to a deal and proper management during the execution of a deal 
• Insurance to hedge various operational risks, including freight-related and political risks
• Access to sufficient funding to hedge liquidity risk in a deal
